Ryan WebJun 20, 2004 · Yeah the C8VE, C9VE, and DOVE heads were all good years for passenger car heads. The D3VE heads can also be made to work with a lot of work. I guess its gonna come down to application although there are a couple of guys going fast with the D3 heads. I believe the D2VE heads were the open chamber heads that werent worth squat.
